I am an immigrant to USA. I got my Green Card in 1985, and citizenship in 2010. I am a registered nurse, no criminal record, an ordinary citizen. When eligible to vote, I voted Democratic, because I believed that party aligned with my values: freedom of speech, social support network, individualism & freedom for minorities (including gay people, etc), supportive of unions, Medicare for all ...... When Covid happened, and I saw a worldwide, coordinated shutdown of people's freedoms, as well as obviously lying by public health organizations (CDC, FDA, etc), Then, when there was active censorship and persecution of people who deviated from the State's position; when Biden forced people to take dangerous vaccines, I lost all faith in government and our current system of governance. I no longer trusted government & realized we have been lied to, propagandized, and used as pawns to shovel wealth from workers, up to elites, and were basically living in a fascist society. Also, as a public health nurse myself, I saw a flood of immigrants brought into America, illegally, all working for big corporations -- all out in the open, with Tax Ids', SSNs etc -- for less than these companies would have to pay an American. I realized it was all a massive set up to keep the working people down, and keep the elites wealthy, and in charge. So, after having voted for Obama & Biden, when I was eligible to vote, I looked for an alternative. I didn't like Trump, but I listened to his message of ending wars, stopping the flood of illegal immigrants, so companies would be forced to hire & pay Americans decent wages, stop censorship on social media, stop forcing rubbish ideology on us, etc. When RFK Jr joined his administration, promising to make food & pharmaceutical companies adhere to healthy standards & challenge vaccine mandates, etc, I was really happy. Tulsi Gabbard, who seemed to stand for peace; and Kash Patel, who said he would root out the deep state corruption in the FB I. All of this convinced me to vote for Trump. Unfortunately, they have all betrayed us. Trump is nothing more than a servant to Israel, spending our tax dollars on a genocide, so Israel can take over Palestinian lands, and even worse, can destroy what's left of Syria, bomb Lebanon, and probably invade Iran, all so Israel can complete its Greater Israel dreams. Trump and his administration are Israel First, not AmericaFirst. The Signal conversations showed Tulsi Gabbard & JD Vance have lost their humanity, if they ever had any. Killing all those people, and fist-bumping about it online. So absolutely disgusting. Trump turned out not to be for peace. He is, once again, for endless wars. His DOGE stuff only nibbled away at a few cultural things that irritated people, but of course, he isn't going to cut into military spending. No, because he is not a president of peace. Kash Patel & Pam Bondi are hiding JFL & Epstein files & not going after the Deep State corruption. And RFK Jr is focused on anti-semitism as a health concern. They have all really disappointed and betrayed us. Foolish for believing anything could change. We need a third party, with people who actually are FOR the people of America. This administration simply isn't it.

I voted for Trump because he said he would cut my electric bill in half in 60 days, he said he would lower my insurance bill, grocery bill, gas price starting Day. He said he would eliminate social security taxes and not touch Social Security or Medicare. He said he would end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours. Now my 401k is crashing, prices are going up, our allies hate us and we are headed for a recession. I can't reach the Social Security people, friends are being laid off, How is this making America great again?

We voted for Trump because we thought he might just bring the price of gas and food down, and maybe tariff China. We had no idea he was going to this extreme position with Tariffs and turning against our closest allies. This is insane. Onshoring is a fine idea, but it should be gradual over probably decades. We never realized Trump would surround himself with just advisors that would give him nothing but positive feedback and yes men . I mean this is lunacy. We are deeply disappointed with Trump.

As a disabled veteran, I am appalled and terrified. I am worried about my benefits. I cannot live without them. I put my life on the line for my country and I've never felt so disrespected. America used to care about it's veterans, what happened? I've contacted my congressman, Byron Donalds, but when I called his staff basically laughed at me. And why is someone who wasn't elected, who clearly has an agenda that benefits him, allowed to make these decisions? Is everyone at the top just there with their hands out? At our expense? Does no one stand for the people anymore?

MEDICARE & SOCIAL SECURITY. He Swore he wouldn't touch Medicare or Social Security. He swore his administration would continue to support Medicare and SocialSecurity, and promised they wouldn't be touched, for ANY reason. Nearly 1/3 of Americans currently use, or are qualified to use, MCR & SS. These are Not 'Entitlement' programs, I worked for Fifty (50) Years to Earn my SS Retirement. For 50 years My money was set aside for My retirement, knowing full well I could Not survive without it. Trump campaigned on many things, things he believed would make America great. For me, it was living in a country I was proud of; a citizen of the Greatest country in the world. And I believed a Great country would Never put their Seniors in a position to choose food OR rent.. yet that is now a real possibility. I feel defrauded, abused, and lied to. And there's no question that he knows full well, ANY cut to Medicare or Social Security will be Devastating for us. To even Consider breaking his promise and turning his back on 1/3 of this Country is Shameful, at the least, and Certain Death, at the most. That's NOT hyperbole either! Ask your grandparents what their Plan B is.. a generation of homeless Baby-Boomers is closer than you think. I thought he cared about us, and I am brokenhearted to be wrong.

I’ve been quiet for a while, but I can’t keep biting my tongue. I voted for Trump thinking he’d fight for the little guy, shake up Washington, bring jobs back, make things work again. I believed it. I wanted to believe it. But now? I’m looking around at the chaos and wondering what the hell we got ourselves into. The economy’s sliding. Prices are up, benefits are down, and regular people are getting squeezed. Meanwhile, we’ve got Elon Musk running something called DOGE like it’s a joke, shutting down Social Security offices and gutting basic services like they’re overhead at Tesla. And Trump is sitting back letting him. Hell, he’s hosting car commercials for him on the lawn of the White House while veterans are suffering? And don’t even get me started on Greenland. We’re threatening war over Greenland, and Panama and Canada and Mexico too? For what? Some fantasy about “manifest destiny 2.0”? This isn’t strength. It’s unhinged. And the guys who’d be running the war are so dumb they’re a step away from butt dialing the opposing side. Adding reporters to a signal chat where you’re talking launch plans? What the actual fuck. I thought they said they were not starting any wars. Now we’re starting them with the world? I didn’t sign up for this. I wanted reform, not cruelty. Strength, not delusion. I’ve been a lifelong republican, and I know I’m not the only one starting to feel this way. We need to seriously ask ourselves: is this what we voted for, or just what we’ve been sold? It is hard to not feel conned. And I’m angrier than I’ve been in as long as I can remember.

I remember when the President worked for all Americans. I remember when there were not red and blue states but the United States. Donald J Trump ran on lowering prices and deporting illegal immigrants. He decried Project 2025. Now he’s following Project 2025, detaining Americans and raising prices through tariffs he never mentioned. Does it matter who I am? Does it matter how I am hurt? Our country is hurting. Do Republicans care? Does Trump? Do citizens matter anymore? Or were we just used for votes?

Because of Trump I have missed out directly on three job opportunities. I had a referral to a job at a private org in the financial industry, but they may get absorbed into the government and we a result of Trump requiring all gov jobs to be in person, this remote job was rescinded. I also have been told by a different government job I applied to that they have paused all hiring as a result of Trump/Elon gutting budgets. The third job was a solar installation job that got cut due to government funding for renewable energies being taken away.

I am a Trump supporter and a cattle rancher in Missouri. I was depending on a $240,000 cost-sharing contract with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) that I signed so I could add fencing and improve my ranch’s water system. Now I'm set to lose tens of thousands of dollars because the Trump administration froze the contract. I've already done a bunch of the work, already paid for the material and the labor, so I'm out all that cost. We are possibly going to lose our farm if NRCS doesn't hold up their contract with us.

I am a Gulf War veteran who voted for Trump 3 times. on 2/20 I was terminated from the IRS for "performance issues." My performance reviews have all been excellent. I took a pay cut for this job and recovered far more revenue than the cost of keeping me employed. 8 months later I'm out. I don't regret my vote and I want fraud waste and abuse eliminated but this chainsaw method is not going to get us there.

Last month my wife Camila Muñoz was detained at the airport on our way back from our honeymoon. She entered the country legally from Peru and has no criminal record. She overstayed her visa, but her green card application is in process. They didn't care about that. She's trapped in a room with 100 other people in a detention facility in Louisiana. They don't have anything in there.

Thousands of people in Congressman Valadao’s district could be at risk if Medi-Cal funding is cut, hospitals will shut down, and our community will feel the consequences. I went to Washington with other healthcare workers to find out whether Congressman Valadao will stand with us or abandon the people he represents, and his staff said he didn't have time to see us, and then he voted for the budget bill that puts Medicaid and Medi-Cal at risk.

My grandson Elijah has cerebral palsy and will likely need Medi-Cal for the rest of his life. Elijah's therapies, medications and even the app he uses for communication would not be attainable without Medicaid. In the final budget resolution, Congress needs to review the cuts to the department of Energy and Commerce. The Medicaid cuts to reach the specified budget goals threaten not only Elijah's life, but the lives of members of thousands of other families. I voted and rallied for Young Kim because she spoke compassionately about her constituents during her election campaign and also supported health care workers. Her budget vote was a slap in the face. I’m very disappointed and very frustrated that she voted and she didn’t fight harder to keep Medicaid uncapped not only for her constituents like myself but for the young children who need it. She needs to remember why we elected her into office. There are better ways to fix the budget that don't mean life and death for Americans. Congress must protect Medicaid.

Valadao had my back in January when he and Jim Costa introduced the Every Drop Counts and the Groundwater Technical Assistance Acts. But just days later he had nothing to say when Trump made the Army Corps dump our irrigation reserves and damn near flooded the Kaweah, all just to make Newsom look stupid.
